Description

Selank is the heptapeptide Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro. The first four residues are tuftsin, an immunopeptide released from the Fc fragment of immunoglobulin G. The last three are Pro-Gly-Pro, the same C-terminal extension carried by Semax.

Both compounds came out of the same design programme, which took a short bioactive sequence and appended a proline-rich tail to block peptidase cleavage. Semax applied it to an ACTH fragment, Selank to tuftsin. Running the two together isolates what the parent sequence contributes from what the stabilising tail contributes.

Published work has examined GABAergic signalling, inhibition of enkephalin-degrading enzymes, which extends the lifetime of endogenous enkephalins, and modulation of interleukin-6 and interferon expression. The immune arm traces back to the tuftsin origin: the parent peptide is a phagocytosis stimulant, not a neuropeptide, and Selank carries measurable activity on both sides.

Rodent models have measured anxiety-related behaviour, learning, and cytokine response.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder at ≥99% purity by HPLC, with batch LC-MS identity confirmation and a certificate of analysis. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Store the sealed vial at -20°C and keep reconstituted solution at 2-8°C, protected from light.

For in-vitro laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.

We supply these products for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not medicines, BPOM has not evaluated them, and no one should use them on humans or animals. Once you reconstitute a vial, keep it refrigerated at 2–8°C and use it within about four weeks. Store unmixed vials cool and out of direct light.
Order before 5 PM and we dispatch the same day across Bali, from Canggu and Seminyak to Ubud, Sanur and beyond. Every order goes out in plain, temperature-controlled packaging.

Frequently asked questions

What is Selank?

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin. Researchers study it in neuropeptide research for anxiolytic and cognitive-related pathways.

What is Selank studied for?

Researchers examine its interactions with GABAergic and immune-signalling systems. These are laboratory findings, not treatment claims.

Is Selank lab-tested?

A U.S. laboratory verifies every batch for purity, identity, and peptide content using HPLC and LC-MS analysis. We deliver securely across Bali and accept all major payment methods.

How do I store it?

Reconstitute the lyophilised powder with bacteriostatic water, store it refrigerated at 2–8°C, and use it within about four weeks. Keep unmixed vials cool and out of direct light.
