Description
Kisspeptin-10 is a decapeptide, Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2, the C-terminal fragment of the 54-residue parent kisspeptin. The short form retains receptor activity, which is why research uses it in place of the full-length peptide.
Its receptor, KISS1R, was known as GPR54 before its ligand was found: a 398-residue G-protein-coupled receptor sitting on hypothalamic neurons. Binding activates Gαq/11, then phospholipase C, then intracellular calcium mobilisation, and the result is GnRH release into the portal circulation.
Human genetics established how much this pathway carries. Loss-of-function mutations in KISS1R cause hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, transmitted recessively, and account for an estimated 2 to 4 percent of normosmic idiopathic cases. Break this receptor and the reproductive axis does not start, which is the finding that moved kisspeptin from an orphan ligand to the recognised gatekeeper of GnRH secretion.
Published work has measured GnRH and gonadotropin release, pulse generation in the hypothalamus, and the pathway’s response to metabolic and stress input.
This compound acts at the top of the reproductive axis. HCG acts at the bottom, on the gonadal receptor itself. The two are complementary tools for locating where along that axis a signal is being lost.

Frequently asked questions
What is Kisspeptin-10?
Kisspeptin-10 is the active fragment of kisspeptin. Researchers study it for its role at the top of the reproductive-hormone axis.
What is Kisspeptin-10 studied for?
Researchers examine how it regulates GnRH release and the reproductive-endocrine cascade downstream. These are laboratory findings only.
Is Kisspeptin-10 lab-tested?
A U.S. laboratory verifies every batch for purity, identity, and peptide content using HPLC and LC-MS analysis. We deliver securely across Bali and accept all major payment methods.
How do I store it?
Reconstitute the lyophilised powder with bacteriostatic water, store it refrigerated at 2–8°C, and use it within about four weeks. Keep unmixed vials cool and out of direct light.
