Description
Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide with a molecular weight near 4810.5 Da. Its backbone is built on the GIP sequence rather than the GLP-1 sequence, with substitutions that add GLP-1 receptor activity. The compound is often called a GLP-1 analogue, when its backbone is closer to GIP.
A C20 fatty diacid is attached to the peptide. The chain binds serum albumin, which slows clearance and gives the molecule a half-life around five days. Albumin binding, not the peptide sequence, is what makes once-weekly dosing possible in the clinical literature.
The receptor profile is uneven. Published work characterises tirzepatide as an imbalanced and biased dual agonist: closer to native GIP at GIPR, and weaker at GLP-1R than GLP-1 itself, with signalling bias between cAMP accumulation and beta-arrestin recruitment. Researchers studying receptor bias use it precisely because the imbalance is measurable.
The SURPASS programme measured glycaemic and body-weight endpoints in type 2 diabetes. Those are published trial findings, not outcomes we attribute to this product.
Retatrutide adds a third receptor to this same incretin background, which is the usual reason to run the two side by side.

Frequently asked questions
What is tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide is a synthetic dual agonist of the GLP-1 and GIP receptors. Metabolic researchers study it as a dual-incretin compound.
What does "dual agonist" mean?
It activates two receptors, GLP-1 and GIP, instead of one. Researchers study that combination for its effects on appetite and glucose pathways.
Is tirzepatide lab-tested?
A U.S. laboratory verifies every batch for purity, identity, and peptide content using HPLC and LC-MS analysis. We deliver securely across Bali and accept all major payment methods.
How do I store tirzepatide?
Reconstitute the lyophilised powder with bacteriostatic water, store it refrigerated at 2–8°C, and use it within about four weeks. Keep unmixed vials cool and out of direct light.
